  1. “Out of the way feeling while in the center of everything! Extending our stay in Boston at the end of a conference for the weekend, we moved from a conference hotel to the delightful Inn at St Botolph. The hotel's location is really optimal - within walking distance of so many great attractions. Around the corner we took in the observation deck of the Prudential Building, visited Copley Square, and took a duck tour. Within a few short blocks we also found wonderful dining at Kitchen and a show at Speakeasy Theatre. It was an ideal location.

Event re-cap: Tasting with Davids tea

Posted by Becky Shade on Nov 13, 2015 3:36:58 PM

Last night we enjoyed a progressive tasting with DAVIDsTEA here at the Inn. Guests joined us to sample teas and to take a mini tour of the Inn.

In room 401, our Two Bedroom Executive Suite, there were displays with some of the seasons newest product from DAVIDsTEA and knowledgable staff on hand to answer all guest's questions. Down the hall Nick from DAVIDsTEA offered black and rooibus tea for sampling.

In Room 301, guests learned and tasted three different varieties of green tea. To pair with the tea, delicious treats like chocolate dipped macaroon cookies and sandwich jam cookies from Mooo Restaurant, were available. The staff from DAVIDsTEA were incredibly passionate and knowledgable and we learned a lot in one evening. Thank you to everyone who joined us!

Posted by Becky Shade on Oct 7, 2015 12:29:00 PM

Ahh, is there anything more comforting on a crisp day than a piping hot cup of tea? We're thankful to call DAVIDsTEA a neighbor and are frequent visitors to the Tremont Street storefront when the temperatures start to drop.

The shop is bright and inviting and the selection of flavors is astounding! They sample two flavors daily and encourage you to taste test. You can see which flavors they're sampling by keeping an eye on their facebook page

Best fall activities in boston: Head of the Charles Regatta

Posted by Becky Shade on Sep 24, 2015 5:49:06 PM

In our Fall40 series we’re highlighting our recommendations for the best fall events and activities here in Boston. Today we’re featuring the Head of the Charles Regatta (HOCR for short), the annual rowing race held on the Charles River.

The Regatta, which takes place during the second to last weekend of October, is a favorite fall event in Boston. The Regatta brings many competitors and spectators alike to the city for the weekend, and it’s an all day affair! Races kick off at 8:00 AM and run through 5:00 PM on both days.

The HOCR began in 1978 and has seen massive growth over the past few decades. Competitors travel from near and far and to participate -- and the event has grown to involve 9,000+ athletes from all over the world! Over 300,000 spectators gather to watch and college students from the Boston area typically come out in full force to cheer on their teams.
